Projects

We cannot give full details on all projects as many are still in development, but an outline of the project brief gives a view of the type of work that we are currently involved in.

1. A workshop system that can integrate with accounting for invoice generation :
Status : Requirements / Design
We are at the early stages of a design for a product that can be implemented within a bespoke workshop environment for controlling the work process and remove a lot of the paperwork that is generated. The resulting application will be then allow invoicing via their accounting system removing the requirement for double entry of jobs and will speed up the process significantly saving both time and money.

2. Web based process control system for a group of office and remote workers:
Status : Awaiting Design Phase
This client has a number of office based staff who require information and control of a complex work process to be available from any location. We carried out a detailed requirements analysis which involved meeting with the staff and management team that would be using the application both on the input and output sides and developed a requirements document which can now be used to complete a design that will meet the requirements set out.

3. Embedded motor control system : 
Status : Final Testing on Prototype
We were approached to develop a Touch Screen system that can operate a piece of equipment that consists of several motors, pumps and ancilliary equipment for a Company who was wanted to provide a new product with functionality beyond that currently available on the open market. We carried out the work using standard Waterfall techniques spending time to understand the exact requirements of the project as a whole and then suggesting options and methodologies to meet the client objectives.

4. A process monitoring system for a manufacturing company :
Status: Complete
We were asked to use our Data Mining experience to see if we could find trends and patterns within a particular manufacturing process using data collected by the clients previously. If trends could be found and then predicted, this would provide a significant advantage to the the Client and their Customers. We carried out a process of analysis and data cleansing to remove spurious data, and then using some proprietary techniques developed in house, were able to find several trends with high degrees of accuracy from the data provided.
The client has been provided with code that they can implement within their systems to predict results based on current readings.
